Planning a wedding? It’s a very special day so why not walk down the aisle to a piece of music specially written for you, performed beautifully by professional musicians?
I have written original music for several weddings now, consulting initially with the couple about what they’d like. For the entrance of the bride – the processional – I like to compose something regal, majestic, stately. For the happy couple to walk out to – the recessional – something more busy, joyful and energetic is in order. I can write for any combination of instruments; you may have musical friends who you’d like to involve in your ceremony. All possibilities can be discussed to crown your day with something unique to you and your partner.
Listen to an example of a recessional piece – ‘siúileann siad le chéile’ – written last year for string quartet and piano:
Alternatively, of course, you can use one of the pieces I’ve already written. I hope to produce high quality versions that could be supplied to you on CD, too. If you’re interested in seeing some of the scores visit my Sibelius site (Sibelius is one of the leading software packages used to write music – you’ll need to download a plug-in for your browser called Scorch to view the scores on their site but you’ll be able to hear more of my music in not-so-nice computer sound).

Wedding Bands London
This lot left me a “comment” consisting of text skimmed from my site. Don’t approve of their tactics but am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt as their website looks like they’re a good outfit. Check them out if you’re looking for a wedding band in the London area – Jay
