Hello π
Thank you for visiting my website. I am a musician – a singer, a multi-instrumentalist. I play piano, guitar, clarinet, bass, ukulele and drums.
I teach piano, guitar and ukulele at Alexandra College. I also have a number of private students. I love teaching and my chief aim is to foster a love of music.
I’m not currently looking for students (get in touch!).
I am available for hire for weddings, parties, corporate events etc. β my repertoire is very broad, and expandable! I can supply guitar and/or piano with vocals.
I am part of a great wedding band, too β Off The Wall.
For two years I was a member of James Vincent McMorrow’s band. In 2014 we toured his second album ‘Post Tropical’, which was released in January of that year. It was an incredible experience and you can get a good sense of our journey by looking at myΒ #JVMbandpics on Instagram. Click here for videos of various performances we did along the way.Β I’m immensely proud of the work I did with James, but sadly we parted ways.Β Our gig at The Theatre At The Ace Hotel in Los Angeles in November 2014 β one of our very best β was recorded and released as a live album:
I sang for most of 2005 – 2012 (and again for their 10th anniversary concert in 2015) with the excellent chamber choir, New Dublin Voices, which I count as some of the finest musical education I’ve ever received. The great German composer Robert Schumann told all his students to join a choir – I wholeheartedly agree! I also sang sometimes at St Ann’s church on Dawson Street (gorgeous Anglican services every Sunday at 11am). I completed an enjoyable year of organ training there, too, with Charles Marshall.
